Matoso FC beat Akado Youth FC 3-0 during the opening games of the Annual Nyatike Ligi Ndogo initiative Under 17 soccer tournament which kick off today at Pengle center in Kadem, Nyatike district.
In other games, Gor Gor beat Aeko 2-0 while Lidha FC drew 0-0 with Akado. In their second game, Matoso drew 0-0 with Aeko.
In the girls side,Matosoi Girls lost to Akado Girls FC 1-0.
Speaking during the games kick off, the Coordinator of the program Maurice Ogur said the games will go on for one week.
Among the team taking part include Akado FC, Nyangere FC, Motoso Youth FC, Cameroon FC, Simba FC, Lisori FC, Lidha FC and defending champions Gor Gor FC.
